The main goal of the subject is to teach the method of failure analysis technology proper choice for various engineering materials. The subject also includes: Static and dynamic heatmechanical stress, creep, low cycle fatigue, modelling of failures, neutron irradiation, surface failures. Maintenance, regenerative methods and principle of strategic engineering methods. Residual life of mechanical elements. Case studies.
