Strukturintegritäts-Anwendungen II (BMEGEMTBVS2N)
Description:
The aim of the course is to introduce the interdisciplinary use of the knowledge acquired or yet to be acquired in the main subjects referred to (Materialkunde and Technische Mechanik) in engineering practice in German through further application examples taken from mechanical engineering practice. One of the lecturers draws on his four decades of industrial (Sulzer, Alusuisse-Alcan) and technical university (ETH Zurich) work experience in Western Europe. The other lecturer uses his current experience at a Hungarian industrial company (Ganz Transformer and Electric Rotary Mill Co., Ltd., Bp.) for the lecture. The development of the professional German language skills of the students enrolled in the seminar is also a goal of the course.
The course Strukturintegitäts-Anwendungen II is a continuation of the course Strukturintegitäts-Anw I. The difference in content between them is that one builds on the other. If an applicant has not previously attended course I, this is not an obstacle to enrolling in course II.
