The students will learn about the materials selection’s guidelines for engineering structures. The production of metals and ceramics grouping, grades, adjustment and changing their properties. Casting, powder metallurgy, forming, heat treatment and joining techniques of structural metallic materials. The effect of technologies on the materials structure and properties. Stress analysis of structures and tools, selection of appropriate materials, semi-products, and production technologies.
